Kindly clarify me for this scenario. if an employee takes second half leave on Friday [Afternoon] and Saturday is working day for us. and he takes leave on Monday first half means how many days leave will get deducted for an employee. whether he will applicable for sandwich leave or not. kindly clarify me on this.

depend on company policy, it differs for every establishment
if the sunday is paid leave then 3.5 days salary deducted i.e the salary is paid on monthly basis for 28/30/31 days basis , however where the policy of no work no pay is applied there sunday is not paid leave and salary is counted on n/26 basis and in that case sunday leave is not paid neither it would be deducted from the absence
