I worked for a small company and for some months .. we received some amount in cash and some amount in check that means
This month I have salary of 15 K
But due to my employer bank issue..I did not receive check.but my MD asked senior manager to give 12K for this month . For .next month he wrote a check with 18 K and gave ... Ideally I should be getting payslip of 18 K.but the cash communication was internal..so he gave us salary slip of 15 K for two months and more over the proper amount is reflecting in form 16..

Should bank statements always match with form 16????
May not match if there are cash payments.
Otherwise the amounts should tally.
But IT will look at figures of Form 16 and as uploaded in form 26 AS.
Please check form 26 As online and see what figure is shown there.
Also with the figures shown as salary you may not be in taxable bracket.

As my salary was non taxable.. only professional tax is applicable..that will not reflect in IT. Am I right ?
