Pls discuss the steps of getting benefits from ESIC.
Example:If an employee needs to be admitted in a hospital for a surgery, so how he would be benefitted from ESIC??? What are the steps he needs to follow to avail the benefits???

The employee has to visit the ESIC dispensary or ESIC hospital, they are well maintained and have almost every facility, but if they find that the treatment is specialized and can not be tendered by ESIC, then they would recommend the patient to any private hospital or nursing home which is in panel list of ESIC
in such case the patient has not to pay the treatment charges, it would get auto discharged by ESIC the institute just issues a discharge certiicate and the patient has to come back to AMO to get fitness certificate on the basis of discharge certificate or if the ESIC feels that the patient needs more rest then they would allow more leave post discharge from the hospital or nursing home. the wages and facilities of sickness benefit would be paid by ESIC to the linked bank account provided that the family members of the IP submit the duplicate copy ( issued for local office) to local office within time.
All the IP has to do is to link the aadhaar card to his / her IP number and validate it. take print and get it validated from employer an IP who has been paid for more than 90 days in previous contribution period of 6 mlnths is eligible to all benefits of ESIC provided he is working in the establishment and takes ESIC based medical leave
