If any employee is working in an organization since 3 month and unfortunately he was died while he was on work. Now his family eligible for the gratuity pls help me about from this

For gratuity calculation, any tenure served above 6 months is considered to be a full year while a tenure below it is not considered to be a full year. Under such a circumstance, His family is eligible for gratuity, however the amount of gratuity will be zero. This is due to the fact that he only served 3 months. Had he served a minimum of 6 months, gratuity figure would have been positive. .
