A Delhi based software company said to the person who attended the job interview that they will not provide any benefits except salary and medical insurance.
What are the legal course of actions possible against the company? There are around 1000 people employed in that company.
Please advise.

Dear Parimala,
Please check the authenticity of the statement made by the person alleging the company.
Because a company with 1000 people will not deny the statutory compliance. But if it still is true then you can complain to Labor department as well as EPFO.

Dear Parimala, I am afraid whether you would have been misinformed by the job-applicant and raised the query in haste.

Thank you Venkata and Umakanthan sir. I have asked the job applicant to get it in written communication/offer letter whatever told by the company. We will proceed based on that. Regards, Parimala

Hi,
My brother is working in a private company that employs more than 200 manpower in that branch but they are not receiving benefits of pf and esi.
However, the company ensures compliance related to maternity/paternity benefits so your company should also explain the maternity benefits at time of joining.
Seniors can advise better here.
Thanks and Regards,
