Please Help me!!!!! If an employee joins march/April month of the year, what is the leave plan for his/her?

As depend on organization leave policy some count calendar year from January to December and some calculate leave from financial yr from April to March. under factory act he must 240 days work in previous year then he entitle to leave next yr. Suppose ram join 1 st March-2018 he entitle to leave in the yr 2019.
