Dear All,
I am working in a private company in Madhya Pradesh, the management is not agreeing on providing leave encashment, also they are saying there is no such rule for accumulation of leaves. I showed them the rule, but i am unable to find where it is mentioned about minimum number of leave accumulation in M.P. shop and establishment act. Management is saying they will allow only 10 leaves accumulation in a year. What shall I do? Please provide copy of rule where it is mentioned about Minimum number of leave accumulation. Also , please let men know if there is a rule for minimum number of leave encashment?

Leave accumulation and encashment are company policy driven. However as per the act/rule, employer is supposed to allow employee to avail leaves and in case of refusal, pay compensation.
