Dear All, We are the contractor, one of our employee was working as a field engineer at the client site. We got the information from the client that Employee is not reporting at the site pl issue a abscond letter with the date of 5th August, we did the same and pay him till 19th of August. Now we request a notice from labour dept that employee has the dispute and proof that work was assign to him till August 09. His point is this the management show abscond in their records and stop assign work to him because he was a field engineer works on calls.
He wants written explanation that why company did this to him and ask for the compensation. Attendance was on online portal and now client has deactivated the login ID and we have no records. Labour dept issue the notice to us pl suggest as a contractor what can be done.
