What makes you think there is bullying in your work place?
If there is bullying what type of activity is being done/or what bullying are you facing?
You need to describe your problem for members to advice.

As with any other kind of problem you need to understand it deeply to be able to deal with it. But most importantly - know that this too shall pass.
Read up on this subject - start here:
Workplace bullying is a persistent pattern of mistreatment from others in the workplace that causes either physical or emotional harm.[1] It can include such tactics as verbal, nonverbal, psychological, physical abuse and humiliation. This type of workplace aggression is particularly difficult because, unlike the typical school bully, workplace bullies often operate within the established rules and policies of their organization and their society. In the majority of cases, bullying in the workplace is reported as having been by someone who has authority over their victim.

Workplace bullies are very common, particularly in large work place, mostly to attract attention and to show 'who the real boss is'. It is a threat to the formal authority and power relationship in a work situation. Ignoring would mean succumbing to it and would be irretrievable. There are various methods of dealing with it, but the one method that could be considered is to confront the bully and make it known 'that this is not acceptable' at the first instance itself. When and how to react to it could be chosen later but misbehaviour has to be countered in the first instance itself as unacceptable. It is necessary to show that as management you are not intimidated or feel threatened by such people. Otherwise more such bullies would be born
One thing needs to be understood very clearly that bullies are the creation of weak management, symptom of feebleness and the feeling of helplessness amongst management. It is seen that when action like suspension/charge sheet is done many such bullies crumble down and seek pardon.

Dear Anaszina,
A place where a good numbered people from different background (Caste, creed, colour, territory and language) assembled at one point of time is to be affected or tainted, may this be our workplace. There are several laws, rules, policing and acts have been enacted, to keep the workplace in order of discipline.
The bullying in workplace is nothing but nuisance [use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others] by the employees. The behaviour is often repeated and habitual by the employees. The above is considered as misconduct and this must be stopped immediately before it spreads and goes vicious.
In the instant case the management immediately come out with a CIRCULAR that anybody found involved in bullying at work place shall be treated severely. Issue show cause/warning letter.
