Dear colleague,
FA does not provide for productivity as it's object is to lay down minimum conditions of working hours, weekly off, OT, ,safety, welfare and health etc for workers.
The productivity norms are decided primarily by the company and where there is union, it is by bilateral agreement.

Dear Upendra Tummala,
The Factory Act is to streamline working conditions of workmen and deal with working hours, weekly off, OT, ,safety, welfare and health etc for workers, also determine the safety standards for machines,Tools, tackels & their best use avoiding accident. But does not have any guidelines for productivity. The Productivity is something different which has to be determined by the management with the help of workmen engaged in production process. The productivity is ratio between input(Man,Machine & Capital) & outputas.
