Dear Kriti,
Your management has told you to prepare 16 principles. But then question arises as to why 16? Why not more or less?
Ok. Irrespective of number of principles, I recommend you executing Dr Edward Deming 14 Principles. If these 14 principles are embedded in company's culture, it will be a big step towards work excellence.
Thanks,

Dear Kriti:
While endorsing DD's recommendations of Deming's 14 Principles, I really can't figure the reason for SIXTEEN. Deming's - D14 - if applied to any service, any organization, any level the results will lead to brilliance.

Dear Kirti,
Please reconfirm .. why need to drafting of 14 principles? This will use either in buyer's/social compliance or practically applying.
In my opinion ... Co policies should written , understand and implemented.

Dear Mr RK Singh,
Since you are Sr GM (HR and Adm), you know very well the importance of organisation's culture. While many business leaders are visionaries, many times they forget to give specific shape to the organisation's culture. Over a period of time, as the organisation grows, a malformed culture restrains the growth. This is how they lose out to the competition.
If the organisation's culture is based on quality, it helps in improving the customer satisfaction or even delight. This helps in retention of the customers and possibly getting the referral business. Once the quality philosophy ingrained in the working of each department, company does not have to waste time and money on training on the subjects like time management, teamwork, positive attitude and so on. Focus on quality take care of all these subjects.
For example, TVS Groups has a quality culture that is integrated in the day to day life of each employee. This culture brings in its wake a culture of operational excellence also.
Hope I have clarified, why I have recommended implanting Deming's 14 principles in the general working of the company.
Thanks,

Thank You Sir.. Dinesh Divekar
I found your recommended link helpful. I got to draft some principles on my own :) :) .
And also, I don't think number matters as and when company's principles are concerned.
Thank you all for responding. Please keep supporting.. waiting for more feedback.
