Dear all,
As all of us are aware that leave eligibility for different states is different. for e.g. Maharashtra Shop and Establishment Act stipulates 21 EL and no SL or PL. Whereas Delhi S&E act stipulates 15 EL and 12 SL and PL. Likewise different rules for Chennai etc.
However, when its comes to implementation, it becomes challenging to have different rules for different states. Can you all please share if you are following single leave policy or go by the states and have different leave policy for each state.
Thanks
Regards
Gauri

If your company is registered with different states Shops & Establishment Act, then you have follow different policies for different states to the best of my belief. If your company is registered only at one state say Mumbai then you have to follow Mumbai S&E Act only for all the employees posted across India.

If you are covered by regulations in multiple states and want to Have a single uniform policy across the country then you need to give the maximum leave granted by all the states. If your Company is generous enough, then no problem
