how i can split .
I split it like this
salary 5000
basic =5000*70/100=3500
hra = *30/100=1500
total 5000
other income =5000
pf=3500*12/100 =420
GRAND TOTAL =10000-420=9580 SHALL I DO LIKE THIS

Hi,
How I do it is:
Salary : 10,000
Basic = 50 to 60% of 10,000 (consult your accounts on your company's policy)
HRA = 10,000 /2
PF = 12% of basic or 1800
Other = the remaining amount
Grand Total = basic + HRA + PF + Other
Again, the formula that I shared is customised to accommodate more take home salary & of course according to your company's policy.

balance 10 % conveyance (20% for non metro)
