EDLI claim is dependent on the last EPS salary and total working period, age of the employee, multiple factors are considered in settlement,

if the dealth is displayed in contribution period, and is recorded properly in form 9 of EPFO then minimum payout is 1.5 lacs and maximum is 6 lacs subject to EDLI paid ( salary structure) and period of contribution
the actual calculation is complex and department has own formula to calculate as there are NCP days also present in annual calculation, but the minimum and maximum parameters are cited above
