Dear Srinivas, It is mandatory to deduct PF from the employees salary if salary is less than 15000/-.

Dear Mr Srinivas, if your Establishment is covered under EPF Act, All Employee whose Gross Basic+DA+VDA is Rs15,000/-PM & below will come under the purview of EPF Act.Present EPF, EPS & EDLI Wage Ceiling is Rs15,000/-Please note that once EPF Act is made applicable to your Establishment, you are bound to comply with the same.

Hi,
Yes, It is mandatory to deduct PF for the employees who's basic salary and dearness allowance is less than Rs.15,000. You have to be a contributory member of PF. For more info, refer the link https://www.stacowiki.in/en/acts/st-...ident-fund-pf/

It is not applicable all employees, for example his age is more than 58 years or if he taken exemption from the EPF department Please feel to ask more details Lakshminaryana 9866917232
