Respected Sir/Mam, What are the documents before sending an offer letter to a founder of a company should i collect, asking him for salary slips or offer letter does not make sense. Please suggest?

Dear D'souza,
If you are offering a job to a candidate who was founder of some company in the past then you should look at the designation that you will offer to him. Check education qualification certificates, check his employment certificates before he founded the company and above all if not salary slips, tell him to submit the IT return of his company as well as in his individual capacity.
Thanks,
