Respected seniors,
Our company closed down its office in Bangalore and moved to Delhi. The employees who were willing to relocate to delhi, had come to delhi while those were not separated from us. At the time of separation they were told that they will get their full and final settlement within two months but now it more than three months and they have started following up. We rolled a policy in June that FnF will be done after 3 months of separation, but the employees who left in May are not aware of it. Management is not taking the matter seriously and saying the Financial condition is not got.
Will these delay in providing the dues of employees will create any issue (Salary for the last month is also not paid by co.)
Pls. suggest
Regards,
Ravi

Dear Ravi,
Certain vital informations relating to the issue like the nature of your industry, total no employees in the industry as a whole including break up their break-up details and the no of employees at Bangalore unit before its shut-down, the no of employees becoming jobless by not able to relocate to Delhi etc are missing in your post. Not withstanding the legal consequences arising out of this partial closure of the unit of the industry, it would be certainly a case of retrenchment regarding the employees not able to move to Delhi. Since the industry is still alive and those assured of F&F were not yet paid the same so far, they have to be deemed to be still in service and as such they can claim wages till they are paid the F&F.
