As per the amemedment act we need to calculate the bonus on Rs.7000 or the minimum wages payable for the respective industry. hence if the minimum wages payable is greater than rs.7000 , then the bonus is to be calculated on the minimum wages.

Dear Concern,
In above discussion please clarify in the Serial No. 1 if Basic is Rs. 6000/- and Minimum Wages is Rs. 8554/- then Whether we have to consider Minimum Wages ie Rs. 8554/- for Bonus calculation or Rs. 7000/-.

Hi Friends!
My basic salary was Rs. 13500 and in hand was Rs. 24470 in my last organisation. I left that company on 8th Oct-2015. Will I eligible to get my bonus for last financial year or not. I am actually confused. Please let me know.

Dear Neetu,
what is the total period u worked with your last organization?
According to Payment of bonus act,1965, section 8, Every employee shall be entitled to be paid by his employer in an accounting year, bonus, in accordance with the provisions of this Act, provided he has worked in the establishment for not less than thirty working days in that year.
