Please advise Standing order Certification is necessary in hotel industry in Gurgaon / Haryana or not is there is any notification or any circular available. We have opened a new hotel in tauru , gurgaon. ALC is also blank on this subject.

Dear Mr. Gupta,
This is to clarify you that you are not required to have any certification of standing orders as in the state of Haryana industrial establishments employing 50 or more workmen are required to have CSO. Plz go through the definition of 'industrial establishment' as provided by section 2(e) of Industrial Establishment (Standing Orders) Act, 1946 for applicability of this Act on you. After going through this definition your business( Hotel Industry) is not covered under this Act & therefore you are not to apply for certification of standing orders. In my opinion units covered under Punjab Shops Act, 1958 are not covered under this Act as the state of Haryana have not issued any specific notification for their coverage.
