Hi Guys, Could some one explain to me what are the classification of leaves in the BPO sector? Could you also tell me when Unscheds can be considered LWPs

hi kavita,

In BPO sector there are not more than 21 to 23 days of leavesapart from public holidays. If u consider 21 leaves among them some are planned while others are unplanned.Planned means U need to book for the year say eg:diwali & unplanned means say there is an emergency.Unplanned leaves are considered only if u call say one day in advance or say few hours before the shift starts which may not be considered as LWP.If u dont inform ur office of ur leave before the shift it will b considered as LWP but also the reason matters fr taking leave & atlast ur record in the office & good rapport.

Hello Friends,
I wanted to know more about the Leave Policy in a BPO. :?:
When do the leaves start for agents/ CSR's? :!:
We have a policy of giving offer letters on joining for training which is of 21 days. On completing 1 month (VnA Training-1 week, Process training-1 week, OJT-1 week, On Job- 1 week) we release the appointment letters. Is it justified to put the agents on 4 month probationary period after this 1 month?
Thankyou
