In my company we process our salary in first week of month mostly by 5th every month. Bt from last 2-3 months it goes to to 10 because of some circumstances i.e my boss does not come to office b/w these days, sometimes if he goes out of stations, if is not not well. So salary process date postpone to second week. Everyone knows about all these facts and they also know that we cant process salary without his approval.

But all employees behave kiddish like they keep on me asking any progress , by which date salary being paid, talk to sir, sent him mail and ask. I mean they know everything but not ready to understand. Even seniors also keep on asking same questions. I really got irritated with these kind of behaviours of employees. I understand their concern about salary that we all work for money as this is the important factor but nothing is in my hand to take any action or process salary. I need your suggestions how to handle this condition.

Dear Supriya,
As per Payment of Wages Act, salary is to be disbursed within 7 days of succeeding month, if the employee strength is below 1000. So if you pay after the date it is a statutory violation. Hence kindly convenience your boss regarding this.
