I joined a company around 11 months back and as per my contract, I was supposed to get a retention bonus of INR 50000 after one year. I have completed 11 months now and now due to restructuring within the organization, company is now asking me to leave. Just wondering to know if I would be eligible for this retention bonus??
Also, I have still 2 months as notice period, my one year will be completed after this month, will these 2 months be considered in one year period as mentioned in my contract??

Yes.. your notice period should be considered and you will be eligible for retention bonus, subject to the clause of your employment agreement. Rgds/Jitender

Thanks a lot Jitender for your prompt response. As far as terms and conditions are concerned, it just states that retention bonus will be paid only after one year..no clauses are there as such!!
