Are they summer interns from MBA school? Or they are trainees/interns who will be absorbed later?
In any case, training them in HR activities is a huge task. U can start by breaking down the training into smaller parts. Depending on the size, u can either decide to train them on a few HR related processes. As U know HR also deals in tremendous amount of confidential information. So u need to be careful while involving them in intricate processes.
Recruitment and legal compliance can be a good start. If urs is a huge company, then u must be involved into extensive recruitment processes. Make them a part of it. I am sure there are many more ways to train them on the job. HR training, in a classroom set-up tends to become a lot of talk and not much practical/useful information. Best HR training happens while u are at work- as per my experience.

Hi
Just make a daily training program for them, this should include theory as well as practical training. Before making training program just keep in mind the duration. In theory parts start with the factory act 1948, state shops act organization's standing order, vision n mission of the organization, history of organization.
Include the HR parts afterwords, trainings (induction n regular), attendance software (data), payrolls, policy on contractual workers. Include organization's all policies. Evacuation procedures, welfare activities n all.
take a serious look about confidential datas as comments by adityasoak....
hope this well help u in a better way !!

Hi,
If possible try to provide more details.
You have mentioned that you need to train them in HR in detail. As you are aware HR is a vast subject, you need to decide what profile you would be assigning to these interns once your organisation absorbs them. Then you can decide on what aspects of HR you can train the interns.
Plus you need to understand very clearly your capabilities of training the interns.
If you can give the relevant details , i am sure i can help you out. And very importantly the forum members can come to your rescue.

Hi,
Firstly thanks all for your valuable inputs.
We are going to absorb them into core HR part.
I have given two classes regarding HR policies and principles and their importance in the organization.
One doubt shall i proceed with core HR process are need to give any inputs regarding HR prior going in to actual subject( i mean creating an idea how Hr is useful for the organization.)
