Hi All, Thanks for this platform.
I am a small business man and going to hire someone from a big company.
As I have never hired someone before this is my first hiring.
I am paying the employee 22000 Gross + 300 DA for sales & marketing.
I want to know as I do not come under PF if I am right having less than 20 employees.
And have no idea about TDS.
Please suggest how should I appoint as he is asking for a appointment letter.
What all should be included in an appointment letter.
My main issues is PF and TDS. How should I handle this. Can I save myself from this hassle and how?
Would really appreciate your support.
Thanks All.

Since you are not covered under PF, the employee will be out of PF. No issue.
TDS - Since the salary is crossing 2 Lacs, he is falling under I.T. Better split the pay into Basic, HRA, Medical Assistance, Conveyance, so that he may not fall under I.T.net. In such case, no TDS is applicable.
