Dear Friends,

Successful managers are perceived as who invest their time and energy in managing others. More they do in the direction, better are their chances to grow up. But have we ever thought how much efforts we make in managing ourselves in life? We tend to get influenced from others' success at macro level but hardly go into the various reasons that attributed their success. The difference between ordinary and extra ordinary person is the ability of self management skills one possesses. Make sure that first person you manage every day is yourself. You need to become more independent in managing your own behavior.

Knowledge leads to skills, but actual self-management abilities depend on confidence and hope that these are actually possible and the belief that they can make a difference. We believe that self-management is possible and as a powerful framework for a number of complementary approaches that ultimately lead to the same goal: that people with inner weakness can improve upon and live the kind of quality lives they want. Self management skills provide a unifying framework for a number of complementary ideas and a framework for harnessing them in the same direction. We all can learn to be more self governing, if we live by our values, be fully accountable to the expectations, be trustworthy to others before expecting them to trust us, having good work ethics and be self disciplined by exercising mind, body and spirit.

In this direction, nothing is more important than how you feel and think about yourself. One needs to work consistently on positive thinking, improving self esteem and building your self discipline. It is virtually the key to success in every aspect of life. Your achievements and failures depend heavily on your ability to master impulses and stay the course. It is a learned ability that can be strengthened and reinforced ant any time. Identifying the problem spots will help modify one's behavior and routine in ways that either reduce temptation, strengthen your steadfastness, or both. One has to build his own success. Each time the self discipline is exercised, it grows stronger. You begin to realize that it is always in your power to choose actions that lead to betterment.

The cover story talks about the ways and methods explained by experts to improve different skills required for managing self and stay positive to increase inner strength.
