Hi Seniors, I work as Travel consultant in an organisation, I dont any qualification of being a HR. i always had a liking to get into HR but i couldn't for so many personal reasons. recently i had a internal position for Hr analyst and i applied for the same. my manager was pretty impressed with me but he has asked me to do some more research on what hr or hr analyst is all about? how everything works? he has asked me to prepare until next IO and he will then promote and teach me the rest. I need a big help from all the Hr people now.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Communicating organizationals culture to employees in various forums
2.Communicating policies & procedures to employees
3.Keeping the department heads & employees updated on HR initiatives
4.Tracking trends in employee behaviors to predict attrition & develop retention strategies
5.Identifying talent issues before they affect the business
6.Managing conflict between employees
7.Regularly interacting with the employees on various stages to measure the satisfaction level and take the necessary actions to fill the satisfaction gap in association with the business owners
8.Bring in new/best practices to empower the employees for a better job performance
9.Conduct exit interviews to evaluate the reasons for the resignation & discuss retention plans
10.Conduct post-exit interview to correlate & re-analyze the exit opinions as to accurately create actions plans for the areas of development of the organization
11.Communicate with the business owners on various issues/suggestions brought up by employees during discussion forums to develop amicable solution
12.Coordinate with business owners to help run the business continuity plan during crisis situation
