Dear Amit,
It is common , everybody feel emotion in such a situation and think like you only. But one thing you should understand that before you teach a lesson to anybody either you must be a good student or a master. In your lines, you narrated about your feelings only. But what step you can take against your senior. A bitter taste tablet only the remedy for the diabetic patient or a good time. I think time is there for you still. Wait and watch.

Nothing to worry about... You go to office work as the best way you used to.... Behave normal & just claim this issue as rumor. Start looking for another good job for you & move on as soon as you get one. Because in the emotional heat if you will teach them lesson it will make you jobless. This way you may end up yourself in new trouble.
STAY CALM & REGAIN YOUR ENERGY

Dear Amit,
As you have mentioned in your query that after the incident you talked to your Chairman, and he told you to complete your work at home and join again the company, then that is good. Just do your work and join the company as nothing has happened. Every thing will be all right. It happens often with every one.
Don't be panic at professional stage.

Dear Amit, As I said earlier, it is common in career. Cut short your temptations and do with full heart. All the best. Hrkpati
