hello Gunjan ,
Nice to know that you are looking for new ideas for the IT company .
before i proceed to suggest you it would be better to know the expectations of the company as you siad you are having most of the policies . either you send me the list of your policies you have to analyse and help you out to device innovative things .
i would suggest you to device the areas of changes first and then look for the problems generally people face , then you will have a better and meaning full policy as practically people want you to solve the problems of the organisation when they say t device new HR policies
few areas you can be innovative as per IT industry are :
flexi timing : work schedules , work from home for few days to performers
devising parameters of performance
extra benefits , challenges and prizes
e-store for employee, monthly gifts option performance wise etc.
employee engagement
training of employee
growth plan of employees
annual meetings , plans
birthday celebrations, outing , travel policies
work life balance schedules and sessions with employees
association benefits as of long term working employees
rest more i could suggest you in details , if you could let me know the current policies you are having now and the budget they have planned for expansion if new policies require any implementation program
Hope this would be benefitial for you .

Hi Gunjan,
Thanks for Appreciating the response . As you have told that you almost have nice things followed in your organisation , so first thanks that you have something good at your hand as good policy .
Now as you mentioned that you need policy, idea or change focusing the word "helpful and towards the motivation of all" .
So I think my suggestion of "first and then look for the problems generally people face " will let you get the checklist as what to modify .
for this you can take a review from employees by handling to them open ended questions and inviting suggestions from them as this can encourage as well will hint you their problems , they are facing .
this way they will also feel that someone is there to listen but do care that generally employees don't give suggestions openly as they fear the management will take action over this . So if you can keep it secret and care to have personal meeting with your people , you will better be able to analyse the areas of change .
As am external person for your organisation , so can't know your internal environment better and honestly speaking nothing will be much better than this way to LET YOU SEE REAL IMPACT of your devised policies rather than making files and again coming to the same stage of devising new policies
Hope once you re done with this i will be able to help you out better ,
wish you all success .
regards

Some new policies, some new ideas and some change. These words denote vague thinking. It is like sitting in a taxi and asking the driver to take you somewhere. You need to be sure of your destination. You seem to be a young man desperate for a change but you are not able to spell out what change you would like to bring about in the companies policies and why. you need to ask few questions to set a direction to move towards the desired change such as why the existing policies according to you are inadequate and what is the specific change you would like to bring about and what are the goals which the expected change would achieve etc.Sit and think coolly and spell out in clear terms what you exactly want so that the learned members can answer your need.
