Dear All,
I was in service industry and due to family issues in sep-2013, ( Due to organize a firm for my brother's employment and set up a business link for the firm. Now I want to move in my career and life and giving interview, but how would i justify my employment gap and is not it possible to get a job by increasing my salary and responsibility, I have 3+ years experiences in sales & marketing and had completed 2+ years in my last organization)
Kindly help me to justify the gap.

Is it absolutely essential for a person to continue to be a slave or chained to his job till his death ??
Can he not make a considered choice to spend his time on other priorities of life ??
Justify it just as you have justified here.
The reason for break in service is only critical to ascertain whether a person has been convicted or spent his time in jail; or is an alcoholic or drug-addict etc.
There is no restriction or compulsion otherwise; as long as the reason is genuine and valid.
Warm regards.

Do not worry
Firstly update your CV & mention that you are still working ( so that your cv can be shortlisted) & at the time of interview just share the actual situation with them.
If they find you capable enough for that job the this employment gap will be no matter for the potential employer.
And in the field where are you from only achieving of target matters so be confident go ahead in life.
Best of luck.
