Dear Prathiyankara,
Your main challenge in improvement in productivity. But then have you measured the present level of productivity? What is the present level and what level you would like to achieve? Is this gap can be just filled by motivating employees? If yes, then have you measured their present level of motivation? What factors are holding their motivation? Have you conducted any survey?
Motivation of employees, this subject comes up for discussion time and again. You may refer my following replies of the past posts:

Dear Prathiyankara,
If you search 'Motivating workforce ' or even 'productivity' in CiteHR , you will find a huge reserve of ideas. But then those ideas worked in the parent environment .
What will work in your firm you need to figure that out.
Lets start with what is demotivating your employees?
Money and working environment are obvious answers. However, the threshold reasons are almost unique to each employee.
How big is your firm? Can you invest enough time to understand each employee's trigger?
Are your leaders aware of it ?
What are the pain-points that you have observed so far and how far can you address them?
No one can be inspired in a frictional environment.
Looking forward to hear from you

Dear all,
Thanks for your valuable replies.
Nabomitha,
My firm is an small growing firm. The real scenario is employees dont work with a passion yet they work without any interest & for name sake they are working. Its obviously becomes my duty to make them motivated.

Dear Prathiyankara,

I am making a wild guess. How is the firm focussing on the learning and development of each employee? I mean beyond the current scope of their work.

Routine can erode inspiration , even when all the supporting factors in the environment are favourable.

Lets assume, since your firm is small, there is a greater knowingness and stronger connectivity between the employees, if not a feeling of family or any other kind of belongingness.

Have you tried inviting good speaker to your firm on areas where your employees might want to listen ?

Arranging extra curricular activities will remain half baked as it will only help the employees to find some time to open up and not grow.

Try and understand if you can arrange regular talks by inspirational leaders at your firm, say last Saturday every month.

Are you a member if TiE Chennai? They organise a lot of events some of them are for free. Try and enrol your employees for such events that can enhance their learning capabilities.

Inspiration is drawn from more than one source. Re-thinking work and its design is the next part.

Involve your employees on identifying routine tasks that drain them of their energies. Schedule those tasks with ways that can motivate them. Job rotation will help everyone skill for the role.

Lets start an exercise with your employees and ask them for candid answers on why work is boring? This is a brainstorming session, hence every answer is valuable.

Lets categorise the areas and find out solutions from them. Lets collect the answer from each and every employee individually so that they can speak without any fear or influence. The leaders in both reporting and non-reporting would be involved in the next step when we have found out all the reasons.

Looking forward to hear from you.

Regards,

Dear Prathiyankara,

Others have given some suggestions and also advertising their services. So, let me ask a few questions and make comments.

Do you subscribe to your management's thought that you can motivate people to improve their productivity without incurring cost?

How large is your organization and how long has it been in existence? What is the background of the owners and what qualifications do the workers hold? More the information you give about the scenario, more precise will the help that you will get here from experts like Dinesh Divekar. He has asked you some very pertinent questions. If you have no answers to those questions, obtaining answers will cost both time and money.

What is your background and what do you know about what motivates people? There are only two basic approaches: "the carrot and the stick" based on circumstances. Please read and digest the info at Improving Employee Morale and Motivation | BizFilings Toolkit
