Iam currently working as a trainee in HR department of a well known Laboaratories.As a recruiter, we normally took candidates as a trainee for 6 month and then on a probation bases after completing the trainee period.Since we recruit for multiple opening like Marketing,HR,Customer Support,Purchase.since while issuing the appointment letter the subject that we put is \"Trainee\".but now my boss want us to put a prefix in the subject as \"Trainee - Jr.officer\" for HR,Customer Support and Marketing Dept.Since after a long dicussion with my senior we try to convience her that we cannot club two position in a trainning period.since we offered the designation \"Jr. Officers\" on probation

we have to make changes in our first paragraph of our letter

Format of our Trainee letter:

With reference to your interview you had with us, we are pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as a “TRAINEE” in our organization with effect from XX/XX/2013 for a period of six months commencing from XX/XX/2013 and ending on XX/XX/2014.

what prefix should I put alongwith the trainee

Dear Bhavesh,
I do not find anything wrong in what your senior had said. What is wrong in the designation "Trainee - Jr. Officer"?
Anyway now there is no point in going back. I will suggest you on how to strike balance between your and your senior's expectations. You may phrase the wording like this:
+++++
With reference to your interview you had with us, we are pleased to inform you that you have been appointed as a “Jr Officer” in our organization with effect from XX/XX/2013. You will be under training for a period of six months from XX/XX/2013 to XX/XX/2014. Your designation during your training period will be "Trainee - Jr Officer". Once you complete your training successfully, your designation will be "Jr Officer" and you will be put on probation for six months.
+++++
Just check whether the above working is acceptable to you.
Thanks,
Dinesh V Divekar
