Hi All,
Hope everyone is doing well!
I have a query described below.I would highly appreciate if anyone could help me out with this.
My salary is very low as compared to my Work Ex and Market standard. When I brought this to my manager's notice he and the HR team came up with a solution. As they could not give much internal hike so they came up with a DIP(Deferred income plan). In this plan they agreed on paying me a good amount lets say 1.2lc.They would be breaking and giving me this amount in every 4 months i.e 40k in each cycle.
What I am worried about is that when I switch to some other organization in future would the other organization consider the above amount 1.2lc and give me a raise on my total salary i.e my CTC+DIP .
Thanks in advance for your valuable time and feedback.
Thanks,
Ashish

Dear your current organisation should consider this amount as a part of your CTC and they should write when you leave the organisation

Dear J S Malik,
Thanks for your valuable feedback.
But my organization is not ready to consider this amount as a part of my CTC.Though they would be giving out a letter stating that I have been receiving the above mentioned amount.
And this amount would also reflect in my Salary slip.
Would other organization still consider this amount and give me a hike on basis of this.
Thanks,
Ashish

When your company is ready to give out a letter for the DIP you are receiving and the amount is reflected in Salary Slip then it is understood by the future joining company that it is part of your CTC.
For example there are few components which a company give to their employee which is not shown in salary slips like Car, Driver, Accommodation etc. But a letter stating the perks given during the course of employment is sufficient to term as CTC for the future company.
