Hello Priyaabablu,
Well, according to my opinion, you should choose the career in which you can enjoy your work. If you will enjoy your work, then nobody can stop you from achieving a good and successful career.
Best Wishes!!

Take my advice just a payroll job will not give you growth, you will just become a data entry operator working on SAP entering the income taxes, leave records etc, better you be in the HR Generalist job and try to learn new verticals in Admin, Accounts which are supplementary to HR Functions.

Hi,
I would prefer the payroll job opportunity as you would be having a new learning curve as your already experienced in Generalist role.
So once your good at payroll with your confidence you can defiantly go back to generalist profile

In short, it all depend on your requirements, preference and finally goals.
There's nothing bad in moving to different field as it has also very good growth opportunities and you are not too old to change your career option.
First, define and set your goals for your career and preferences and then see whether it is fulfilling or not and then decide. However, the offered roll has enough career growth but still you do a little research and then go to conclusion.

Hello Priyaabablu,
I am Agree with Ravi Advise as you be in the HR Generalist job and try to learn new verticals in Admin, Accounts which are supplementary to HR Functions.Other wise you will become a part of Data Entry operator.

Hello Priyaabablu,
My suggestion is you keep with your generalist profile. i am suggesting this, because i have faced same problem. In starting of my career i have worked as HR generalist after that i have joined payroll outsourcing company. then i realised my old profile was very beneficial for my career growth.now i have joined in another company as Senior HR Executive and now I am enjoying my work.

Hi
Well, I believe that payroll is a part of HR profile. As of now you are handling recruitment, and performance management along with payroll. And also consultancies jobs are always target based. So, Ithink you should go for generalist role.
