From India, Mumbai
From India, Mumbai
Informative Presentation.
While seeking new challenges and acquiring new competencies, it would be appropriate to remember and nurture the Basic Principles ( as advocated by management Gurus like Stephen Covey).
Nowadays Indian Corporates refer to them as the Group Values.
The fundamentals that build a good character are too well known and yet worth recalling say - Integrity,Honesty, Truthful, Commitment, etc.
After the formal education when people take to work, teachers have been given a Good bye in the Institutions, it is the HR professional who should take upon mantle of "Moral Preacher'.
His role should be that of a Life Long teacher.
In these tough days when people chase 'success' like never before, HR professional should play the role of a mentor, who would time and again relentlessly stress on the importance of Principles / Values.
regards,
V.Raghunathan
