Dear Folks, We are a small company, with high level morale, and integrity. Working hours are from 6.30 p.m to 2.30 a.m (IST). Most of employees are facing very serious problems like getting sick and everyday they are reporting problems like headache, stomach pain, and other health problems.. As a human being we understood their problems but as a Company we have the responsibility to find a remedy for it. After a long thinking we wants to introduce mentoring/motivation/guidance programs to all employees.

So, can you please suggest me the good doctors/yoga guru\'s/Spiritual guru\'s who can convey our mission with their thoughts/experience. Presently we need a doctor who is from Hyderabad (General Physician). To deliver health tips... \"WE BELIEVE HEALTH IS WEALTH\"

For you reference:

\"We have nice office premises, hygiene environment, pure drinking water facility and every thing which is need for healthy environment\"

Your immediate response is highly appreci

The idea of having a good medical person is nice. However, while the treatment is necessary for the sick, in itself it is not enough if too many personnel are getting sick and one has to find the reason behind it.
IST 6.30pm to 2.30 am is to me confusing. What time of the day they are working? I suppose it would be day time......
What type of industry it is?
Are there (unrealistic) targets?
Whether work pressure is the reason?
Are the employees capable of handling the work as well as the pressures?
Is job work related training incorporated as an activity?
May be, answers to these questions can lead to or at least take you nearer to the solution

IST 6.30pm to 2.30 am is to me confusing. What time of the day they are working? I suppose it would be day time...... IST means Indian Standard time (only Night shift), evening 6.30 p.m to morning 2.30 a.m
What type of industry it is? (Service)
Are there (unrealistic) targets? (All are achievable)
Whether work pressure is the reason? (We work only 8 hours per a day including lunch and other breaks)
Are the employees capable of handling the work as well as the pressures? (Yes)
Is job work related training incorporated as an activity? (We implementing various training modules)
If you have any training modules please share it would helpful for us...

Thanks Mr.murali.a

With a clean setting with good ambiance, good food and competent enough staff, no undue pressures, it is a good set up and there indeed is very little to blame.

The working hours (8 hrs) is also OK. With such a good practices being followed, I feel you must have a drop available for the employees back home. i.e unable to go to bed before 3.30 am.

That leaves me with only one possible drawback: missing good night sleep months after months. I wouldn't be surprised if you find them getting irritated, restless and even confused, a clear sign og sleep deprivation.

While a doctor looking at their health problem is a welcome step to pinpoint the possible reason, I think they need to adjust to the new sleep pattern. There is very little one can do about it given the nature of single shift.

Your idea of involving a Yoga Guru is excellent. I think Shavasana and meditation should help in alleviating problems arising through sleep shortage to some extent by inducing relaxation.

If you find someone to help on Shavasana & Meditation in Hyderabad it would be good. If not, wonder if I can help you in Shavasana & Meditation as I have been a teacher & practitioner of it by making an audio available.
