Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to know about authorised signatory.
Who can sing on day to day business activity.
In our company, there is plant manager but he is not authoried person to sign day to day business activity because resolution for authorised signatory is not passed in board meeting.
So, I would like to know that our plant manager sign on legal paper like under factory, PF, ESIC, etc..act.
Best regards,

Hi,
It depends on the type of the company you are working.
If the managing director or any other person is authorized to delegate the signing power to plant manager then he can make a duly constituted delegation of authority. then your plant manager can sign.
For signing regular correspondence the plant manager can sign with his name and designation. But for signing the returns, reports and replies to statutory notices the authorization from the board is a must.
