Hi All,
Can anyone help me on the category in which employees of an IT firm would fall in Shops and commercial establishment list of Karnataka, 2013-14?
Is there a minimum basic pay defined? If there is a minimum basic pay,is it ok to rework on the other salary components so that the CTC would remain the same?

IT Industries in Karnataka falls under Karnataka Shops & Commercial Establishments Act & there is no any sub categories.
As per Karnataka Shops & Commercial Establishments Act there is minimum wages for all types of industries and we should follow the same. we should ensure Basic is not lesser than the minimum wages act. Other components shall be reworked
