Dear Sweta!!
According The Industrial Disputes Act.1947 under Section 3 provides that.
works committee can establish where more 100 workers are in emplyoment or have been emplyoed on any day in preceding 12 months.
The representatives of committe shall be elected in two group 1st through member of the trade union which registerd under trade union Act.
2nd through the non trade union members.
works committe representative total will not exceed twenty.
