Hi Bala
There is a tool that has been widely used to measure the effectiveness of any training interventions. It is known as the Donald Kirkpatrick's model. It speaks of 4 levels. Attaching a ppt on the same.
However there has been addition of one more level to that - The ROI Calculation of training. You can source similar ppts on the ROI calculation from the net.

Hi Bala,
You can assess Training Effectiveness as follows:
1. Training Effectiveness on Trainee's:
Conduct a pre and post training test. Evaluate the test papers and make an analysis.

This will help in not only understanind the effectiveness of the training on the trainee's you will also be able to understand the Trainer's effectiveness too.
2. Other metodology would be to adminter a training feedback form which will enable you to arrive at an analysis on :
a) Trainer's effectiveness
b) Course material
c) Duration
d) Ambience
etc etc

Hi Guyz,
I am working as an AM in a corporate Training function with a BPO.
I would like some inputs on creating a Training Budget Module for ex. components of a Training Budget.
I am also looking at various methods of calculation Training cost effectiveness....other than ROI.
Members, especilly in Training Manager role, who deal with Training budgets and also create business proposals for budget allocation - Do Help :)
