Hi,
I can say that Executive-HR is better job when compare to recruitment why because you can learn various thing from/while working in executive positions, you can learn only recruitment activities from recruitment board.
Wise decision will leads us towards better opportunities.

Dear Mr. Vishal Salve 5,
Consider giving us your designation towards the offer that you currently hold in hand. If you were to join as a HR in both the organization, then its your call. Please understand [YOU ARE THE BETTER JUDGE YOURSELF].
Being in Hotel Industry you will learn the infinite process in different departments like F&B, Purchase, Housekeeping, Rooms & Divisions etc., being a HR. Besides the information technology field changes rapidly as recruitment is limited to (Recruitments-- Sourcing -- Clientele) partly related activity. Since its a consultancy your work will frontier to searching for candidates, accepting applications, interviewing candidates.
Every sector has its own counter-part standerdizing their needs to set aside the description of ones job; classified as suited to the business type.

Hi vishalsalve,
I would recommend you to take the HR executive job, offered by the hotel as this will give more exposure into HR activities and future scope of landing into the HR profession will be good. But the challenge in taking the job with the hotel industry, you will have to do a lot of learning and u will have to put in extended working hours. You will learn a lot and you need to also read a lot regarding HR process as this will be difficult to start with but later it will be comfortable for you provided if you put in hard work.
All the best!

Dear Vishal,
The secret of choosing a job lies in knowing why will you let every other opportunity pass by ! To all of us , the HR role at the Hotel is way more promising as, it will offer you an in-House HR role and a continuity in the service sector.
However, you need to be very clear of the challenges that you would face in both the places and what role would you want to grow into, next.
If you have a recruiter's role with Randstad or even other equally big global player, then it might make a better choice to join them
Visualise the role where you would want to be in 3-5 years from now and then pick the option that takes you closest to it.
Wish you all the best !

dear member.....

It is really a tough decision to take by one when have other options of offers from new trade, but still the ultimate thing what i can suggest you before opting for new job you must answer yourself vishal as you know your self the best, if you think that hotel industry will accept you with your present skills, experience and if you will keep on sharping your entire features ( skill wise) then it is good industry as hotel industry is an industry where in huge patience, every moment new challenges, pressure, man management, knowing and implementing soft skills every second, professionalism, pleasing personality, ready to serve always, can solve small to big problems with pleasing smile always and finally deep sense of serving and attending to customer is required , as you have not mentioned your profile offered by hotel ,but still above requirements are mandatory for this trade in fact.

As super moderator intimated great thing that this industry covers numbers of departments in it and provides multiple opportunities and responsibilities to the person willing to learn a lot from all departments and its functioning.

Best wishes...

Thanks & regards

I second, there is no guarantee, which is why he needs to pick the one, that will take him closest, to his dream role .
If he wants to get promoted as a Manager, he needs to pick up roles that will offer him a full view to all the responsibilities. Scaling up his capabilities through managing diversified responsibilities , will earn him the role, eventually with any employer, if not the current one.
If he wants to establish himself as a specialist, he needs to take up the role by the recruitment firm where he will managed every function from sourcing to managing different companies as clients to his employer.
We trust , if he keeps his eyes on the responsibilities and learns every lesson out of them, he will make it to where he would want to .

well, from my own experience as i have worked in hotels, hospitals, corporate, bpo, it, retail ... Would strongly recommend, just go for hotel industry... It is always a rising sector... Rarely hotels / hospitals get closed down.... Then you will have good working culture, envirobnment, learning, esp. Lots of exposure on care, courtesy, employee relations, recruitments of all types from civil engr. To housekeeper to chef to cfo to it specialist to cocktail expert.... Hotle is an industry inteself... It has all departments under one roof.... Front office, housekkeping, f&b service, f&b production. Kitchens- then stewarding, engineering, reservations, security, sales, banquests, marketing, financial control, planning, projects, media, creative cell, hr, legal, admin. Liasioning, training & development, laundry to name a few.... Mmoreover, its an organisation where focus is on guest service... So, hr is also aligned accordingly & learning & growth is immense... From hotel industry... After a few years you can shift to any other corporate like bpo, healthcare, retail, service industry.... As most of the large old corporate groups have also realised that taking care of their customers- both internal & external is very critica;l in today's global perspective... So, just have faith, courage & right attitude, go ahead , join hotel industry... But let me warn you.... The glamour in hotel is only for the guest... For employees its only hard work & gust delight...

Best wishes,
