Can a person be a factory manager of two units if
1. Occupier is one of both units
2. company name is same only one is unit-I and another is unit-II
3. ESIC and EPF registration is one for both the company.
4. Salary Sheet is prepared separate for both the unit.
5. Company is in Uttarakhand.
So for Submission of Annual Return of Factory Act(form-21) for unit -I and Unit-II factory Manger can be one ?

Hi Jagdish,
This is common issue, and most of the retail sector are appointing the managers- marketing for 02 or 03 states and paying the esic if they are eligible, pf & tds is common,
1. you can pay the his salary as follows,
For ex: 90,000/- for one month for Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai locations.
if he is siting in Bangalore location you can show him in bang lore location and you need to pay all the statutory issues on their itself.
For showing the budget of manpower you can show like 30k from each location also.

But Sir my Company is in Uttarakhand and both Plant are in Kashipur one is in plot no 132 and another is in plot 145 and name is also same of the company so your solution cannot be executed in this situation

Hi, You can designate him to plants like cluster manager for two units, and remaining are not to be change.

Your question is Can an individual be nominated as Factory Manager for two units under the Factories Act?
The answer is yes. The Act does not prohibit nomination of the same person as Manager for more than one unit

dear team,
1. if there are two factory licences, there should be two ocupiers
2. if the entry and exit to both the units are same, there can be one occupier for both the plants
3. when two factory licences are obtained, you have to file two returns
