I want to know about the procedure for ESIC benefit which is given to employee if she is leaving company.
she has paid ESIC for may 2012 to december 2012.
her salary is 12000 rs.

Dear Rutika,
There are two contribution periods each of six months duration and two corresponding benefit periods also of six months duration as under.
Contribution period******************Corresponding Benefit period
1st April to 30th Sept****************1st January to 30th June of the following year
1st Oct. to 31st March***************1st July to 31st December of the year following

1 more query is that this benefit is provided to employees in kind of medical treatment only,,and no return is given to them if they are not taking any kind of medical treatment....let me know am i right or not.?
Is it possible to take benefit if medical treatment( like fever vaccination) is to be done in any other country?
