Hi
Avinash if you are not used the oil again for the process. please check with your respective state PCB for procedure.

Dear Avinash
As advised by Mr. Eswar K you must obtain permission from the PCB for storing / disposing the Used Oil / Greese. In the PCB Office itself they will guide you how to dispose and whom to contact for disposing the Spray Paint containers / Used Oil / Greese / Food Waste and other materials which needs to be disposed of by you.

Dear Avinash,
Used oil and grease are defined under Hazardous Waste Management and Handling rules as " Hazardous Wastes"
This should appear in you consent to operate. (You should apply for it)
You should store them in a closed shed.
After these re generated you should dispose the items to state pollution control board approved re-cyclers.
If the quality is beyond re-cycling then it should be disposed to Common Hazardous Waste Treatment Storage and Disposal sites. (CHWTSDF). This has to be disposed within 90 days from the date of generation.
Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir

There is a provision says that you can send the waste to collection center, which are available at the headquarters. The Authorised vendor as well as the company should get PCB certification.
The application can be obtained from PCB.

Dear Avinash,
First of all you have to identify the diesel storage area, area should be coverd and lock and key and paste in the area paste like MSDS and higly imflamble sign bord and a eye washer should be in the sorage area. Diesel storage flooring with RCC and one layer of sand below the container. You should maintain seperate for waste storage and area should be with lock and key generly. Company will have to contract with the authorised waste disposal or recycler company. Disposal com will take charges for the same service. If yoy want to sore in a tank you have to get permission frm indian oil corporation from mumbai. You need not required permission frm PCB.
If you have any query related feel free to cotact me.

Hi,
As stated above, you need to get the permission for storage, transfer and disposal of Used Oil from Hazardous Waste wing of local Pollution Control Board.
Used Oil should be stored in a sealed drum placed on impervious floor under covered shed. Usually Used Oil is been sent to the refinery for recycling purpose but the agency should be authorized from the PCB.
No hazardous waste can be stored for 90 days.
regards
Mukesh
