Your statement is contradictory. You are saying that the company is doing well and branding it as Sick Industry.

Jute industry too is a manufacturing industry. What is important to promote your career is the volume of exposure and quality of skill sets you develop in HR role functioning. If it is sick industry, you may come to know various ways of downsizing it by various methods like VRS or cost cutting methods, lay-off procedure, retrenchment procedure financial restructing and organisational restructuring, proceedings before BIFR etc which you may not get in an industry whisch is sailing smooth. However, the problem with sick industry is to see whether it is in the stage of winding up which may create uncertainity too early in your career. An optimist sees an opportunity in a threat.
