Dear All,
I Need Some help from you people. My problem is that, presently where I am Working here there is No HR Team, No HR head and Policies which are followed here are Very old and traditional.
Even I have discussed this to my Boss that currently what practices we are following are quiet old and we need to develop our HR Dept, but he is not taking any interest, I am Confused what should I do, I feel like quitting my job, It doesn't makes any sense working here coz I wont be getting Exposure to other aspects of HR.

you may hide the identity of the firm..
HR activities cant be nil anywhere.
you would be having payroll/admin/ recruitment...
share what is the status currently..
try to understand the mind of an entrepreneur and the challenges faced by him.
next bring on improvements to help the business grow..
if you are able to do a good job in a startup firm, its a feather in your cap...

Mr Surya,
I appreciate for the advise you have given, but we really don't have separate admin,recruitment and payroll department. I am the only Person who looks after each department with the help of my assistant.
As I have seen in other firms there is an HR team with responsibilities Given to each person department wise , and that is what I want to Implement here.
There is hardly any procedure of recruitment, Training and Development, Induction Performence appraisal ,Employee Engagement and Exit Interviews Etc. presently where I am working

4 years back i was head of hr/ admin/it... 1 junior in hr, 02 in admin and 1 fte + 1 part time in IT..
and i used to run all of them on profit center basis..
2 yrs back i shifted abroad.. there resources are scarce...one has to do everything on their own..
a strong person in your position would have discharged his routine tasks and picked additional small tasks one by one whenever time permitted and changed things single handedly...
share the true status of things plus your abilities..
