i am working as an intern in a pharma company. as per the organisation,SOP has been communicated to the employees.SOP are HR related i.e position creation,transfer,recruitment n selection & joining formalities.now i have been asked to design a system or device which can ensure that if employees are not following the SOP what steps should be taken ???

Dear Sripriya,
This is nitesh jain HR from the pharma industry. Easiest way to ensure is find the annexure formats that are duely filled on daily basis, Enable all the hod's to have a thorough round in and out side the plant premises for few minutes and ask them to submit a daily report on non-compliances, Further after receiving the daily report you can sort out these issues based on the person who is responsible for non-compliance.

Thank you sir for your worthy guidance.Kindly PFA where you will see SOP(hr) and further you can guide me with more information.my basic focus will be on each activity of the SOP, & if they are not followed by the employees what steps should be taken ? as u said will the daily status report workout in every activity ??

I think your sop has been designed in a critical format. On daily basis even it doesnt work out, you can ask for the status (i.e for ex:- sop no:1 related to budget approvals, Ask your employees to give a follow up of activity regularly. suppose if budget will get approved after 10 days, why not it should get approved in 5 days?
If not ask for the exact justification.
Since many of them are not routine activities, you can design according to the frequency of the activities happening.
