Hi all, im working in pharma industry for last 16 yrs at managerial level(4th) i joined a NEW pharma co. With their h.o. At chennai one year ago at delhi as my h.q. Recently suddenly my gm verbally asked me my resignation. I was shocked at this.i asked hrd about their role and status of my employment as my working portal was locked and was not allowed to work in the field and even my salary for current month in which i worked for full 30days was not given.on cont. Mailing hrd they just asked me to contact my gm for status. On mailing him he simply replied ....submit noc of ur zone for full n final settlement. I again asked the authenticity of this from hrd,but no answer is given to me.i am a confirmed employee and atleast i deserve notice period and salary & expenses for last 2months.there is no memo of misconduct or poor perfomance given to me by anyone.in last 13months of my employment.

Can/should i go for legal action as neither hrd nor md is responding to my mails.i am at delhi and my h.o. Is at chennai. How can i proceed on this.plz guide.

Dear DSM,
As per my knowledge no one can terminate an employee without any issue / reason. Forget about it if the employer / GM has inform you leave the organisation, put a mail to him asking the reason while marking CC to your HR Head. As all company need to follow the due process of law, you will get the appropriate reason while doing so.
For workers and employees the law is strict and they can go to labour Court. For supervisory persons they will have to go to Civil Court. The maxim "wherever there is a right there will be a remedy " will strictly apply.

Dear DSM.
Please do not tolerate this nonsense behavior and ask for the reason. Please take this matter seriously and take required step regarding the issue. No one has authority to fire you without any valid reason.Keep informed everything to management and even though nothing is happening then approach civil court.
Take Care
