Hai
Though these exams are relavent to the government bodies most of the private companies do not recognise this as a initial qualification. But yes ! this can be added in your CV as an additional tool to impress the employer about your analytical /Logical skills.

but don't this put the employer in to a suspicion that he will leave whenever he gets the gov job. upsc and ssc are the exams that indicate the desire of the candidates aspirations for gov jobs.
this depends on the company profile and the level you are joining whether to make this info public or not.

thanks for your kind reply...I will make a situation a lot more clearer....actually I am a 2009-10 B.Tech ECE passout . I was preparing for the competitive exams but couldn't secure position in the final merit. Now I was getting over age so I decided to work for an ecommerce company but after 3 months I was laid off due to downsizing of the company. The problem is that I was working in bit of senior position ( in multi - function domain namely operations, marketing, client management ) but as I was a fresher they were paying really low.
Now the problem is I am not getting any calls for freshers job due to over age & because of my such experience not suitable for low paying job. I was able to get calls from good MNC but they were making a bit of fuss about my low experience. I think I am stuck in middle of nowhere & my career has ended before it even began properly. So I request seniors to guide me through this tough situation.

please continue in the current position. alternatively, you will have to add some new qualification to your credentials to offer your candidature a fresh. this will make you more viable for the market.
hope i am clear.
