I am an HR practioner. I need more topics on behavioral trainings for our new managers. Can anybody share?

What topics have you thought of? How about starting with some thinking on your own, posting the topics you have thought of, providing more context and engaging others in a discussion rather than asking us to do your homework while you busy yourself relaxing?

sathyaish,
I might have mistaken in understanding that this website involves professional sharing of what they know and I have seen a lot of practitioner sharing their ideas and experiences. If you are hesitant to do that or thinking the way around then I think it would be ethical to just not reply to this thread. "Relaxing" it would be very inappropriate to brandish such judgement when you do not know me personally and have not worked beside me. A note says below the thread "Keep your conduct professional & polite". I am expecting you to be polite and professional enough.

I apologize. I've been a jerk. I was in a pretty bad mood last night.
That and the nature of your question, being similar to many others that just ask for their work to be done, added to my agitation.

I wish after the apology, no judgement or description were added on the question asked, that would have made it more sound, why apologize then if still mocking the question??!! THERE IS NOTHING CALLED BAD QUESTION.

I think who ever is not willing to share or commit to the professional conduct of the group or even in a bad mood, then better not answer at all. Besides one's mood is his own problem not other people that we do not know and yet vent on them. I was myself offended seeing that response that might hinder anyone from asking questions thereafter fearing to get such a reaction; hence no learning or sharing would take place in here and this is not why we are all here...so lets be careful next time.

Gianneanchor; I suggest that the very first thing is to go for a communication training, the contents for this training could be different types of people and how they behave differently just to help new comers how to deal with different personalities. You might as add some tips about the organization culture....Just my two cents...

Cheers;

Thank you so much for lifting me preachy. I am a new member here. I'm filing up materials for some in-house training and had just newly started for this craft. So maybe I can share these files when everything are in place. Thanks for the tips :).

Hi,
For new Manager's you can add training like- conflict management,Managing Self & others,Business Etiquette, Team Building, Time Management etc.
I do agree with preachy, you start with communication first.
All the best

Hello!
Does your organisation have a behavior framework(BF) once a BF is in place then all behavioral training's can be developed and executed around the BF.We can help your organisation develop a BF.

Gianneanchor;
why dont you start off Behavourial trainings with the very experience you had while asking this question??? communication comes first... Inculcate that in your communication snippet...question framing-how/to whom/where and perceiving replies;how/where etc... you have a great example set in this very thread of mails...
