Dear All, I require more clarification on above-said topic.
1) If the employee resigns in May 2012 do we need to still continue his contribution till the year ending of PF (February) & ESI (September) quarterly or we can stop payment.
2)Is it true that the ESI department has not taken ESI annual return documents of 2011-2012 or do we need to submit online only?
3) In PF esewa do we upload every month all employee details or no need of uploading?
4) Is it difficult to handle PF & ESI without giving to a consultant.

Sheela

Hi Sheela
1) If the employee resign in May 2012 then you can't continue his contribution. His PF should be only till May 2012.
ESI contributionis till that half year. Its not quarter.
2) ESI returns has to be filled every half year. Now it is no need to file. But you shall file it online.
3)In PF E-Seva you should give EPF Number, Name and contributions of all the employees for every month and other details like DOB, DOJ, Fathers Name, Gender, Relationship, should be given only at that particular month of joining and Date of leaving and reason should be given only when employee leaves.
4) It is not so difficult to handle PF & ESI without giving to consultant. Earlier there were manual returns. So indtead of viditing the offices they use to give it to the consultants. Now as things are gettting online you shall do online. But make sure as you should file all the returns on time and with proper contribution.

Hi Sheela PF ECR will not accept those values. Round it off for nearing full day. You should consider LOP for 4 Days only.
